A community can be a wonderful support system, especially in education. For this discussion, set aside some time to meet and to get to know your colleagues. Access the Study Room (located on the course's main homepage) to meet with others. Follow the directions on the page to reach out to your colleagues to find an agreeable meeting time or meet with someone else that you know from LAPU. Remember, the point of this exercise is to connect with others. Please only share what information you are comfortable with sharing.
Possible Discussion Topics:
- What is your major?
- What is your hometown?
- What are your hobbies?
- Do you have a job? If so, what field are you in?
- After interacting with at least one other colleague, answer the following questions:
- What did you learn from others? Is there something that you were able to connect over?
- Did this activity allow you to build your community of colleagues?
