Many learners will give lip service to pre-writing in writing courses, then skip it when the time comes for them to actually begin writing.

  1. Be honest – what is your process (if you have one) for pre-writing?
  2. What are the strengths of this process? Challenges?
  3. If you don’t have a process, why not?
  4. How has your attitude towards pre-writing changed this week as a result of the readings/media?
